I really do, Tumblr. But instead, I’m officially announcing my reinstatement as a social network-er.
I’ll admit, my short-lived hiatus was only partially intentional [my beloved laptop had passed] and although it wasn’t exactly a reve’lational withdraw, it was nonetheless instrumental in composing myself during a time of personal crisis.
I’ve lost some followers—one for each day of my absence. So it goes. I’ve also contrived a Tumblr for my various writings, it’s private. Perhaps one day it won’t be.
Petty predicaments aside, the future appears rather luminous. Personal endeavors, internships and imminent housing arrangements are falling into place.
I can’t exactly say what the future holds, but I know I’ll be there. Until then I’ll leave you with the wise words of French poet, Antoine de Saint Exupéry:
As for the future, your task is not to foresee it, but to enable it.
